  1. Have you considered the possibility of supermajors playing a leadership role within the ant colony? They have larger brains and a higher capability for interpretation and analysis. They may be in charge of analyzing a threat and organizing the rest of the colony against that threat. Just a thought.

  2. I like the idea of supermajor ants serving as “palace guards” of sorts, using their huge heads as barricades during war. It’s interestingly reminescent of the Roman Praetorian guards and their shields.
