The Boston University Art Galleries exhibition program is on a three-year advanced schedule. The galleries’ staff meets regularly to consider outside proposals for exhibitions and projects related to its mission statement. The Boston University Art Galleries welcomes submissions and proposals from individuals and institutions.
Please familiarize yourself with the type of exhibitions hosted at the Boston University Art Galleries and our mission before submitting your proposal.
Exhibition proposals should include:
- A cover letter with a one (1) page project description
- Résumé of curator or artist
- A selection of images (slides, prints, CD/DVD)
- An estimated budget
- Space requirements*
- The Stone Gallery is approximately 2,500 sq. ft.
- The 808 Gallery is approximately 16,200 sq. ft.
Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of materials. Portfolios of original materials are discouraged. All submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. All materials submitted will be handled with the utmost care and consideration, but the museum is not responsible for loss or damage of sent materials.
