Kevvy Metal presents: Summer Screen

Kevvy Metal presents a screening of the latest works by Rose Kallal on Thursday, July 26 at 7:30pm. Rose Kallal is a NYC based 16mm film and sound artist. For her multiple 16mm film loop performances and film soundtracks she uses analog synthesizers, guitar, drums and tape delay, drawing upon minimalism, drone, ambient and metal. She has performed alongside Mick Harris (Napalm Death, Scorn) at E.vent Space in London and Spike Island in Bristol UK as part of Narcissus Trance exhibition. Other performances include MoMA pop Rally event Blood Transfusion for a Ghost at PS1, Barefoot in the Head for Performa, and Lady of the Lake at Ramiken Crucible Gallery NYC.

Summer Screen brings contemporary film and video art to the Boston University Art Gallery. BUAG is providing complimentary beverages and snacks with a suggested donation of $3.
