Sunny Shin Ph.D.
Dr. Sunny Shin is Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Social Work. Having a broad practice and research background in addictive behaviors and childhood traumatic experience, Dr. Shin has used a biopsychosocial model of addiction to examine the etiology of alcohol and drug involvement among adolescent and young adult populations. His research has been funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the Alcoholic Beverage and Medical Research Foundation (ABMRF), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the New York Community Trust.
