This extraordinary exhibition
presents a side of the renowned film star seldom experienced by her adoring audience.
View the personal scrapbooks, first assembled by her mother and later by Miss Davis
herself, with handwritten annotations explaining the context and relevance of each
photograph or clipping. On exhibit are studio photographs and private snapshots,
personal letters, early contracts, annotated scripts and much more. Relive some of
your favorite iconic screen moments, and experience some of the personal triumphs
and challenges through the items she personally saved and collected for over seven decades.
Located in the Frost Reading Room on the first floor of Mugar Memorial Library.
The Exhibit can be viewed Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
