2014    Ph.D. Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology

2014    CCC-SLP MGH-Institute of Health Professions

2008    M.S. Linguistics, Georgetown University

2003    B.A. Romance Languages, University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

  • Aphasia Rehabilitation
  • Neural mechanisms contributing to language relearning in aphasia
  • Memory Systems
  • Category and Rule Learning

CURRENT PROJECTS:

I am currently working on a project that explores feedback and paired-associate non-linguistic category learning in patients with aphasia.  We explore how instruction method affects learning with the aim of identifying underlying supporting systems that might optimally contribute to language relearning in patients with aphasia.
