William Milberg, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. Milberg is the Director for the Data Management and Analysis core of the HGARC. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Neuropsychology from Wayne State University in 1978. He holds the Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology from ABPP and is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Milberg is also the Associate Director for Research GRECC and the Director of the Neuropsychology Laboratory, VA Boston Healthcare System. Dr. Milberg has been an active member of the HGARC since 1979 and serves as discussant at Aphasia Rounds. In the last five years his research interests have evolved to focus on the risk factors that contribute to the development of late life cognitive disorders and studies of methods to treat the attentional disorders of hemispatial neglect. He is the co author with Nancy Hebben, Ph.D., of Essentials of Neuropsychological Assessment, which has been adopted by a number of graduate courses in neuropsychology around the United States and supervises a training program for psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows.
