Patricia Fitzpatrick, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Speech/Language Pathologist with the HGARC who performs the speech/language evaluations of participants and presents reports at Aphasia/Neurobehavior Rounds. She received her B.A. from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., her M.Sc. from the University of Pittsburgh and her Ph.D. from Emerson College. She has many years of experience evaluating and treating patients with neurogenic communication disorders in the Boston VA Healthcare System and has been actively involved in the HGARC since 1979. Her research interests include the efficacy of group treatment for individuals with aphasia, quality of life issues and long-term recovery from aphasia.
