Patrick McNamara, Ph.D.

Dr. McNamara received his PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience (Human Neuropsychology) from Boston University in 1991 and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the HGARC from 1991-1993. He is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine (BUMC), and is the Director of the Evolutionary Neurobehavior Laboratory at BUMC in the VA New England Healthcare System. Dr. McNamara is investigating models of pragmatic comprehension and production processes in healthy aged and patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
