Avron Spiro, Ph.D.

Dr. Spiro is a Research Scientist for Boston University. In 1973, he received his B.A. from Emory University. He went on to study at Pennsylvania State University where he received his M.S. and Ph.D. in 1978 and 1982, respectively. Dr. Spiro is a consultant for the Aphasia Research Center specializing in Statistics and Design, as well as working with the Language in the Aging Brain project. His areas of interest include the longitudinal study of human development and the impact of health on cognition in adulthood and aging.
