- American Academy of Religion Career Guide for Racial and Ethnic Minorities in the Profession: This guide, written by minority faculty members for minority faculty members tells it like it is, and is well worth reading, regardless of your discipline. The chapter called “Are You Considering the Hire?” is a must-read for groups or individuals who are trying in diversify the faculty in a department or school.

- BU Admissions Student Diversity Board (ASDB): attracts and supports a multicultural student body at BU. Although this is part of the Admissions website, the activities go far beyond recruitment of students.
- The Howard Thurman Center: This group works to encourage BU students,faculty and staff to develop a sense of community through shared experiences on and off campus that help bridge differences in race, ethnicity, religion and gender identity. The Thurman Center is dedicated to the pursuit of “Common Ground,” a guiding philosophy of Dr. Howard Thurman. Join their mailing list, learn about their programs.
