in honor of His Excellency Jose Maria Pereira Neves

Event
On Monday, October 6, Prime Minister José Maria
Neves of the Republic of Cape Verde spoke during a breakfast
held in his honor at Boston University’s African Presidential
Archives and Research Center (APARC). During his week long
visit to the US, one of the Prime Minister’s major objectives
was to strengthen ties with the Boston-area Cape Verdean Community,
and to further relationships with local business leaders.
APARC, which has gained international credibility as a center
for policy formulation relative to Africa, was deemed an ideal
setting in which to accomplish these goals. For more information
