Anthropology Department Library
The Anthropology Department Library was established in September 1982. At the
end of the 2005-2006 academic year, 1026 books, articles, papers, and 173 periodical
titles were collected and catalogued. Through departmental acquisitions and the
generous contributions of faculty and students, the Library continues to expand
and develop, providing a basic, accessible, and ready reference, in a location
conducive for study and personal exchange among undergraduate and graduate students.
The Library is housed in the main Anthropology office at 232 Bay State Road and is open Monday through Friday 9-5. The Library is open to all students and books may be taken out for two-week periods.
Another resource is the East Asian Archaeology and Cultural History Library.
