B.A. 2005 Psychology, University
of Colorado at Boulder
As a research assistant for the lab’s neuroimaging projects,
I utilize structural and functional MRI to examine differences
in brain structure and function between subjects with autism
spectrum disorders and normal controls. I am responsible for
subject recruitment, experimental design, data collection
via MRI, and data analysis.
During my undergraduate studies, I enjoyed an unofficial
emphasis in neuropsychology and my fascination with the human
brain blossomed. Upon graduation, I returned to my home in
Boston to continue to nurture those interests as a researcher
here at BU. I am also an avid musician, and if my dream of
rockstardom ultimately eludes me, I will go to graduate school
in either neuropsychology or psycholinguistics.
