Family Coordinator

M.S.W. 2004 Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health, University of Michigan

As Family Coordinator for the language in autism and brain imaging studies, my responsibilities include scheduling participants' visits to our lab and administering clinical interviews and questionnaires to parents.

Prior to joining the lab, I worked with children and families in a longitudinal study in Boston. Before moving to Boston, I also provided group and family therapy for children and their families in residential treatment facilities in Michigan and worked with adolescent health promotion programs in southeast Asia. I am interested in advocacy and researching issues related to family dynamics in families who have children on the autism spectrum, particularly sibling relationships and parenting practices. I plan to pursue graduate work at the Boston University School of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health.
