As Project Manager for the Imaging Studies, I oversee the collection of anatomical, diffusion-tensor, and functional MRIs of children with autism or specific language impairment. I am involved in developing paradigms for the functional imaging studies and will be involved in measuring discrete anatomical regions of interest on the structural scans. As the study progresses, I will also participate in analyzing the data and preparing the results for research articles.

In the past, I have been involved in anatomical and functional imaging studies of healthy adults and adults with persistent developmental stuttering. My main research interests are in brain-behavior relationships, neurodevelopmental disorders, and speech and language functions. I would like to better understand the relationship between brain anatomy, brain function, and behavior, especially in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism and specific language impairment.
