Take Exit 18 (Mass Ave.). At the traffic light, take a right onto
the access road; stay in the right lane and turn right onto Mass
Ave. At the first light, turn right onto Albany Street. Look for

the Instructional Building or the L-Building in case you need to
ask for directions. Enter the building and take a seat in the waiting
area. It is not necessary for you to sign in. A member of the research
team will meet you there and escort you to our testing location.
If you are visiting the lab for an appointment with Dr. Tager-Flusberg
or Dr. Joseph, you do not need to wait for anyone to meet you. Walk
down the hallway to the right of the security desk until you see
a set of elevators. Take the elevator to the eighth floor. When
you come off the elevator, turn right, go through the glass doors,
and turn right again. The Lab’s office is located in suite

Take the Orange Line to the Mass Ave stop. Exit the T on the Mass
Ave side where the buses stop. Stay on the same side of the street
as where you exit the station. Buses travel down both sides of the
road, but you want to pick up on the side where you exit the station.
There is a Subway sandwich shop attached to the station on this
side.
At this point, the Medical Center is either a 15-minute walk or
a 5-minute bus ride. If you prefer to walk, proceed straight down
Mass Ave to the right until you reach the Boston Medical Center
(BMC). If you prefer to take the bus, take either the #1 bus or
the CT1 bus to the BMC stop.
Cross Mass Ave so that you are on the BMC campus. Walk past the
