Project Coordinator

M.A. 2004 Psychology, Boston University

I am the project coordinator for the lab’s neuroimaging research projects. In this role, I will be a member of each team whose project utilizes structural or functional neuroimaging to determine abnormalities in brain function in subjects with autism spectrum disorder. I will assist with experimental design, data collection via MRI, and analyses of the results.

As a Master’s student in Boston University’s psychology department, I became interested in experimental neuropsychology. By working on projects related to dyslexia, Alzheimer’s disease, and HIV, I learned the benefits of using functional neuroimaging techniques to show how these disorders and diseases adversely affect brain function. Given my interest in functional neuroimaging, I would like to earn a doctorate degree in behavioral neuroscience in the future and pursue a career in research.
