Airway Clinic

The Amyloid Airway Clinic is a multi-disciplinary group, directed by Dr. John Berk dedicated to the assessment and treatment of patients with amyloid deposits in the airways and lung parenchyma. Typically deposits are restricted to airways, residing beneath airway mucosa or growing into airway lumen anywhere between the nose and the outer portion of the lung. Patients with amyloid deposits restricted to the airways or lungs are considered to have localized amyloidosis.
