The XVth International Symposium on March 26-29, 2018
I take this opportunity to reflect on the XVth International Symposium on Amyloidosis, Amyloid Research Winter to Blooming Spring, held from March 26-29, 2018 in Kumamoto, Japan. Eighteen members of our team, including students, post docs, grad students, basic and clinical research scientists, attended this symposium and presented their work. Reflecting on this meeting (8th one for me), we of all creed broke sake and shochu barrels, picnicked under cherry blossoms during Hanami tour, danced with the giant bear – Kumamon, strategized new projects with samurai and discussed the latest in Amyloidosis Research. Kudos to Prof Yukio Ando for organizing a flawless meeting.
