Background
Megan Wulff completed her undergraduate degree at Brown University, where she majored in cognitive neuroscience. She is currently completing a masters in public health in health law, bioethics, and human rights at Boston University, and is planning to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology. Megan joined the Alzheimer's Disease Center at Boston University School of Medicine in April 2006.
ADC Role
Megan is the coordinator for Dr. Robert Stern's neuropsychological assessment clinic. She is the research coordinator for the ADCS Home-Based Assessment (HBA) study, designed to develop more efficient and sensitive in-home testing methods (including automated telephone technology and a computer-based kiosk system) for elderly subjects at risk for memory problems and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). She is also the research coordinator for the ADCS Prevention Instruments (PIP) study, which is assessing the reliability, efficiency, validity and sensitivity to early AD and MCI of new, self- or caregiver-administered experimental outcome measures designed for use in AD prevention trials.
She also served as psychometrician for the Flurizan I and II, DHA, and REVEAL studies, as well as interviewer for the Driving and Dementia Caregiver Intervention Project.
Research Interests
Megan's research interests are focused on the biological/behavioral contributors to patterns of memory and aging, as well as the neural correlates of learning, emotion, and romantic attachment.
