Background
Linda graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with a degree in Psychology. In 2005, she completed the Master of Arts in Psychology program at Boston University. Linda joined the Alzheimer’s Disease Center in November 2009.
ADC role
Linda is the research coordinator for the Skills Assessment for Elderly Drivers (SAFE-Drivers) study, designed to determine the most valid combination of office-based assessments in predicting driving safety in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), as well as in healthy elderly controls. She is also working as a research assistant with Dr. Robert Stern, investigating depression and cognitive function in non-demented, elderly subjects with subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) as well as the efficacy of thyroxine treatment in improving mood and cognition in SCH subjects.
