Background
Sumati Raghavan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from G.R. Medical College in Gwalior, India. Sumati later worked as a Resident Medical Officer in the Department of Anesthesiology at the J.A. Group of Hospitals, where she was awarded a post-graduate degree in Anesthesiology. Sumati joined the Alzheimer’s Disease Center as a Clinical Trials Specialist in August of 2008. Prior to joining the ADC, she served as the Clinical Laboratory Coordinator at the Boston University Clinical Research Center. Sumati plans to complete a Masters degree in Public Health specializing in epidemiology.
ADC Role
Sumati serves as a study coordinator for the efficacy and safety trial of Bapineuzumab in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. She intends to work with and manage future studies directed at preventing or slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
Research Interests
Sumati’s research interests are focused on Alzheimer’s disease; preventive or treatment trials for persons with Alzheimer’s disease.
