Background
Mario Orozco completed graduate studies at the University of Costa Rica in Dental Medicine. He is currently pursuing a Master's of Public Health with a focus in the epidemiology of infectious diseases and is planning to pursue a doctorate in public health sometime in the near future. Mario joined the ADC at Boston University School of Medicine in January 2007.
ADC Role
Mario serves as the participant contact coordinator for several ongoing studies such as ADAPT, Flurizan I and II, and DHA. He co-organizes the weekly ADC seminars.
Research Interests
Mario's research interests involve creating access to healthcare for all, the impact of oral health attention and prevention in the overall health of populations, and health outcomes in minority populations.
