Background
Dr. Smolinsky received his Bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Suffolk University, Boston. He completed his internship in clinical psychology with a major rotation in neuropsychology at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VAMC in Bedford, MA. After internship, he completed a two-year fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and Bournewood Health Systems. He began a two-year fellowship in neuropsychology at the ENRM VA in September 2007 and will also be part-time at the BU Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
Research Interests
Dr. Smolinsky’s research interests include memory disorders and the role of the prefrontal cortex in aggressive behavior.
ADC role
Dr. Smolinsky serves as a consulting neuropsychologist for the HOPE study.
