BU ADC Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship Opening                                       The BU ADC announces an opening for a full-time post-doctoral fellowship position to commence in summer 2010. The fellowship provides specialized neuropsychology training and is intended for a candidate wishing to develop an academic career in clinical research. The application deadline is January 15, 2010. The Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy (CSTE), which is a collaboration between BU ADC Investigators and the Sports Legacy Institute, was recently featured in "Dead athletes' brains show damage from concussions" on CNNhealth.com, and in "New Sign of Brain Damage in N.F.L." in The New York Times.

PAIRS Program Featured in Bedside Manner Blog
The BU ADC PAIRS Program, which pairs medical students with Alzheimer's disease patients, was featured in "More medical schools are helping students see the person behind the patient" by Julie Rosen, Executive Director of the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center.  The Kenneth B. Schwartz Center is an organization dedicated to strengthening the relationship between clinical caregivers and patients.

Participate in the New Vaccine Study for Alzheimer's disease
The BU ADC is currently enrolling participants for the launch of a new treatment study for individuals with Alzheimer's disease (AD).  The Investigational Clinical Amyloid Research in Alzheimer's (ICARA) study is investigating the use of a vaccine drug called Bapineuzumab to slow the progression of AD.  For more information, click here.
