Overview of Services
The GRECC Dementia Management Clinic focuses on helping to manage issues and problems that occur in veterans with moderate to severe dementia. After an initial comprehensive visit, patients are generally seen every 6 to 12 months for a brief follow-up visit. Services include family education about dementia, practical advice regarding simple things that can be done in the home to reduce disease impact, medication suggestions, educational talks, and support meetings.
