Knowing the early signs of AD means your loved one can be assessed by a memory loss specialist and receive treatment as early as possible.  Below are some links of what signs to look for when distinguishing normal forgetfulness from the early signs of AD. 

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a condition that involves problems with memory, language, or other thinking abilities.  MCI may be a very early stage of AD or another dementia.  See the fact sheet below for more information on MCI.
