The Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical and Research Program (ADCRP) supports the Boston University Memory Assessment Clinics which perform clinical evaluations for patients in the community, drawing referrals from the neighborhood, the region and from around the country.
The ADCRP also coordinates the staffing for recruitment and implementation of clinical research activities related to aging and dementia within the Department of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine. These activities include the Clinical Core of the NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Core Center, the clinical trials supported by the NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study, and numerous NIH and industry-supported clinical research studies.
The ADCRP also sponsors neuropsychology and neurology research fellowships.
Robert C. Green, M.D., M.P.H. and Robert Stern, Ph.D. are the co-directors of the ADCRP.
