The Best of BU Luncheon & University Alumni Awards

Join alumni from across Boston University at one of the premier events of Alumni Weekend! We will welcome home and recognize a number of distinguished alumni groups, including the Class of 1965, Golden Terriers, Claflin Society, Band Alumni, former student-athletes, loyal and generous donors, and many more.

The University Alumni Awards will be presented at the luncheon. Recipients of the 2015 Young Alumni Award include Mayor Lisa A. Wong (CAS’00, GRS’00). Distinguished Alumni Award recipients include Dr. Robert K. Jackler (MED’79) and Dr. Sarah Degnan Kambou (SPH’84, UNI’94).

National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) Tour

As BU alumni, you have an exclusive opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at a world-class facility. NEIDL (National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories) is part of a national network of facilities studying diseases that are or have the potential to become major public health concerns for Boston, the United States, and/or the world. This lab is a major step forward in advancing public health and we’re happy to have partnered with the NEIDL researchers to offer you a tour led by Dr. Gerald Keusch, associate director of the NEIDL.

For security reasons, all alumni and their guests must be able to provide their full name, birthdate, and email address prior to the tour. Registrants will be contacted about three weeks prior to the tour with a request for the required information.
