What is Alumni College?

The Alumni College Experience

“This is the first alumni event I have attended. I thought it was fabulous, in part because I had the chance to interact with a variety of graduates – not just from the College of Arts & Sciences, and not just from my graduation year. I am looking forward to next year!”

Dominica Nichols, CAS’01

Do you remember the first day of a new college semester? A clean sheet of lined paper, a pen in your hand. Ready to absorb the words of the expert standing at the front of the classroom. That experience isn’t behind you. Boston University provides the opportunity to recapture that feeling as you delve into new frontiers of knowledge at Alumni College.

Boston University’s Alumni College allows alumni and friends to return to the campus they love for an immersive living and learning experience. Conversations continue in-and outside of the classroom with direct access to faculty experts from the College of Arts & Sciences and across the University.

This year’s curriculum focuses on the arts and society and features experts in music, poetry, philosophy, theater, science, even a past US Poet Laureate—in addition, an expert in Alzheimer’s disease will examine the intersection of science, medicine and the arts.

This is a weekend in Boston that you do not want to miss.
