A dinner series to connect Boston University alumni with current Boston University students.
Alumni will host groups of ten young terriers.

Whitney Ahneman
Sargent, 2009

Whitney is pursuing a degree in Nutritional Sciences concentrating on Dietetics. She likes to play volleyball and laugh a lot. She enjoys running and good manners. Currently she is in the very long process of trying to learn Norwegian since her family is very Scandinavian.


James Connors
SMG 2009

James is a student in the School of Management studying finance and management information systems. He loves the outdoors, sports, snow, and most of all, Boston!? He's very excited to be working with SAC this year.

Sidney Efromovich
CAS 2009

Sidney Efromovich, or Sid as he likes to be called, is an International Relations major class of 2009. He is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil where he was born and raised. Sao Paulo was also the place where he developed the passion for international human rights activism. At Boston University, he created the Hug Don't Hate organization and works very closely with other social justice organization to bring the message of peace and respect to the BU community.

Linda E. Gregory
CAS 2008

Linda majors in International Relations with a concentration in East Asia and Foreign Policy. As a BU student, she has enjoyed being able to procrastinate by jogging along the Charles and checking out Boston's great restaurants.?

Maggie Gryko
CAS 2008
Maggie was born in Bialystok, Poland but now lives in Moraga, CA. She is a senior majoring in Economics. She is a co-coordinator of a volunteer program in the Admissions Reception Center and is the Vice President of the Pre-Law Society. In her spare time, she loves trying out new recipes and going to BU hockey games.

Nathalee Kong
CAS 2009
Nathalee is a Biology major and Public Health minor in the College of Arts & Sciences. She currently works as a Biology Lab assistant at BU, and she worked as a researcher for Broad Laboratories at MIT during summer 2007. She aspires to one day own a dachshund and be a doctor.

Hersh Parekh
SMG 2009
Hersh is a proud New Yorker, originally from Elmhurst, Queens. He is a junior studying Business Administration and International Relations. Hersh is the president of the Media and Entertainment Club, and is heavily involved as an assemblyman in both the SMG Student Government and the Student Union.

Abrah Shapiro
COM 2009
Abrah left her hometown of Springfield, Virginia to attend Boston University's College of Communication. She plans to study in Los Angeles for the fall 2008 semester and pursue a career in television after graduation. Abrah is also an active member of the Delta Chapter of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.

Paul Yi
SMED 2011
Paul Yi is a native of Columbia/Ellicott City Maryland. A sophomore in CAS, he is enrolled in the Seven-Year Medical Program (SMED) majoring in Medical Science with a minor in Religion.?He is also co-Business pitch of Mustard Seed (BU's Christian acappella group).

Jeff Li is a Junior in Computer Systems Engineering and Economics/Mathematics, with a Minor in Management. He is from Reading, MA and he interns at Raytheon. He also enjoys politics and playing the piano.

Lana Koretsky
SMG/CAS 2009
President
Lana was born in Lvov, Ukraine and grew up in Brooklyn, New York.?
She is currently a junior double majoring in Organizational Behavior in SMG and Psychology in CAS. Lana is one of the founding members of the Nu Chapter of the oldest and most progressive professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and is the President of the BU Management Consulting Association. She looks forward to a career in the field of human resources consulting upon graduation.



Alyssa Johansen

Alyssa is currently a senior in Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is a Human Physiology major with plans of attending medical school in the fall of 2008. Alyssa is a Resident Assistant for Sleeper Hall on West Campus, and she is a member of the National Leadership and Honors Organization, Sigma Alpha Lambda. In her spare time, Alyssa likes to snowboard.

Chris is from Newton, MA and has been a terrier fan all his life.?He is currently in the School of Management and is pursuing a degree in Finance, but his interest is in real estate. His goals are to become a real estate developer and property owner. Chris also loves to play squash and he likes hanging out with his frat Chi Phi.


Matt DeWolf

Secretary Matt DeWolf is a junior in Sargent College majoring in exercise science and on the pre-med track.?He plans on finishing at Boston University, taking a year off, and then applying to medical school. His goals in life are to be a great Doctor and to be the happiest person alive.


Shanece Taylor
COM 2009
Communications Chair
Shanece was born and raised in Westchester, NY. She is currently pursuing a degree in Communications concentrating on Public Relations with a minor in English. She plans to specialize in Entertainment and Fashion PR. After graduation, Shanece wants to return to the New York Film Academy. She is also the Public Relations Chair for the Black Student Union, UMOJA, and is a member of PRSSA, the Fashion & Retail Association, and the BU Media & Entertainment Club.
