Dear Alumni and Friends,

We are now closing another academic year. This past year has been marked by self-analysis - from accrediting groups and others; through surveys of alumni, students and faculty, and most importantly, by the Board of Overseers at the University. In January, the President and Provost appointed a group of overseers and members of the MET Dean's Advisory Board to examine and showcase what we do at Metropolitan College. I am proud of how well we came across, and pleased that the overseers were impressed by our commitment to providing opportunities to learners of all ages, to introducing innovative ways of teaching, and to upholding the high academic standards of the University. We hope as alumni and friends of MET College that we have made you proud as well!

This past year was also distinguished by the presence of a record number of attendees at MET's May graduation. Congratulations Class of 2008, and welcome to our alumni family! We hope to see you at our Alumni Reunion this fall - where we will be hosting programing for recent alumni, like yourselves, and honoring special segments of our alumni family: like graduates from our Brussels Campus and On-Line Alumni! For the past three years, we've hosted a number of alumni, donors, friends, students, prospective students and our partners in education (including our faculty and staff!) at a Terrier Men's Hockey Game during Thanksgiving week. This year, we play Holy Cross on Tuesdsay, November 25th.
