The Latin American Summit
Miami | March 24-26, 2017
Few universities can claim alumni as globally engaged as Boston University’s; BU graduates can be found in 185 of the world’s 195 countries. Today, the Latin American alumni community is more than 3,400 strong. Next March, that community will gather for the first time to connect, learn, and celebrate together.
At the summit, hosted at the brand new EAST Miami, you’ll hear from an outstanding roster of speakers—including world-class faculty and accomplished BU alumni—who will discuss such issues as global and Latin American health, smart cities, economics and investment, and media. You’ll see familiar faces and make new friends over a gala dinner at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel Miami, hosted by BU Trustee Maurice R. Ferré (CGS’81, MED’92, SPH’92, Parent CGS’19) and his wife Maria Dolores Ferré [Parent CGS’19]. And you’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of thrilling Miami!
“Meeting here in Miami means we can join other colleagues who are as eager as we are to foster relationships and generate new ideas and networking opportunities And Miami is the right place. It’s called by some the ‘capital of Latin America.’” Alejandro Suero (CGS’97, CAS’99), CEO of The Suero Real Estate Group.
Don’t miss this first-ever global event with your fellow Terriers from Latin America at fabulous, brand-new venues!
