Melissa Algreen (SMG’04) of Fort Lee, N.J., is recovering from a serious injury after being hit by a car in June 2005. Melissa had been working in the marketing department at NBC in New York City when she was struck while crossing the street. “My recovery has been extremely tumultuous, having to relearn everything from speaking and eating to using the bathroom,” she writes. “I have, however, learned a tremendous amount about my work ethic and have a greater appreciation for everything in life.”
