Dana Sonnenschein (GRS’88,’95) of Bethany, Conn., won first place in the 2008 Stevens Poetry Book Manuscript Competition of the National Federation of the State Poetry Societies. Her manuscript Bear Country was selected from among 186 submissions from all over the United States and abroad. Bear Country is Dana’s second full-length book of poetry (Natural Forms was published by Word Press in 2006).
