Adam Zev Estreicher (CAS’96) of Tarrytown, N.Y., died in early January after being struck by a car whose driver was under the influence. After graduating from BU, Adam taught English and studied Chinese language and culture in China. He returned to Boston and earned a master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture and worked in a clinic providing acupuncture to HIV patients. In 2002 he married his high school sweetheart, Tracy Triplett. “Adam was devoted to helping others through his alternative medicine practice — and just as often by providing an open and listening ear,” Tracy writes. “He had a boundless appetite for books and music of all kinds, good food, and goofy jokes.
