Marrit Howard Ingman (COM’96) of Austin, Tex., published her first book, Inconsolable: How I Threw My Mental Health Out with the Diapers (Seal Press, 2005), a memoir of postpartum depression. Steve and fellow company actor Rheri Tribble (CAS’03) convinced the company to host the show Reflections, a long-form improvisational piece about life at BU geared toward BU alumni, last July.
Anthony Cristofani (CAS’97) of Los Angeles, Calif., writes, “I fell in love and then went on a Bonnie and Clyde spree with my lover at UC Santa Cruz. I went to prison for three years, during which time I published poetry in various poetry journals. Upon parole, I formed a rock band, The Sacred Dice, and now tour the U.S. with the band and continue to write prose and poetry. Sedrick Huckaby (CFA’97) of Fort Worth, Tex., had a solo exhibition, Portraits and Quilts, at the Nielsen Gallery in Boston May 13 through June 10, 2006. The exhibition featured recent paintings of family and friends and colorful paintings of quilts sewn by his grandmother. In the past, he has shown work at the Studio Museum in Harlem, the Staten Island Museum in New York, and the African American Museum in Dallas.

For the past three years, she has been working in the protected resources division on the Endangered Species Act listing of elkhorn and staghorn corals. “This is the first-ever listing of corals,” she says. “I enjoy my work immensely and hope that I will contribute to the recovery of these two species.”

Set in Egypt, Thaïs is the story of an Egyptian courtesan torn between spiritual salvation and sensuality.
