Angelica Ybanez (COM'01) of Flushing, N.Y., is a business representative for the commercials and industrials
contract department of the Screen Actors Guild, helping to resolve contract disputes and acting as a mediator in negotiations
between performers and producers, ad agencies, and attorneys. Angelica is recovering from serious injuries she suffered when

his debut feature film, Niji No Shita Ni (Under the Rainbow), in Japan. The film premiered at the 28th Mill Valley
Film Festival in California and was screened at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival and the Independent Film
Festival of Boston. “It certainly has been an amazing journey,” J. R. writes, “having made this film for less than seven
grand, with money I managed to get together from my savings as an English teacher working in Tokyo, being a test subject
in a medical trial in Kagoshima, and even from a lucky break at a racetrack, when I bet on some horses based on a premonition

the use of computer-based models of molecular dynamics at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research
Association in San Francisco in April. They presented research on the use of these computer models in New England
high school science classes and showed how these classes scored significantly higher on achievement tests than control
