These three programs strengthen the greater Boston
community and improve quality of life for residents
of Eastern Massachusetts.
Boston High School
Scholars Program. The Boston High School Scholars
Program was established to enhance educational opportunities
for academically outstanding students in the Boston
public high school system. Annually, the University
awards four-year, full-tuition scholarships to attend
Boston University for Boston public high school seniors
who show exceptional promise and motivation, and meet
the University’s academic requirements.

Boston University Community
Service Center. The Boston University Community Service Center was established in 1986 as a vehicle for empowerment and to provide the potential for growth and leadership, while encouraging active and responsible membership within the community. Every year, Boston University students perform over 50,000 hours of service through ten different service programs, impacting everything from literacy and citizenship, to disability services and child welfare.
