The Graduate Programs Fund makes possible alumni initiatives and promotes educational innovations that help attract top students and, in turn, increase the value of a Graduate School of Management degree. Gifts to the Graduate Programs Fund support:
- Graduate scholarships
- The Alumni Link, which includes an online alumni directory
- A quarterly e-mail alumni newsletter
- Nationwide GSM alumni networking and social events
- New graduate programs and curricular advancement, such as the MS·MBA program
- Niche MBA programs, including the Public NonProfit Management program, the Health Sector Management program, and the professional evening MBA program.
- Innovations in business education, such as the MBA Writing Mentoring Program
- Up-to-date software for the GSM computer labs and library
- New corporate outreach professionals in the Feld Career Center
- Ongoing alumni career services and additional career counseling services
- The Distinguished Executive Lecture Series
- Net Impact (formerly Students for Responsible Business) Case Competition, Symposium (formerly e-Day), and other business symposia
- Conferences such as the Women’s Leadership Forum
- Faculty research, including the Junior Faculty Research Fund
- Faculty department seminars and the hiring of research assistants
- School research centers: the Systems Research Center, Human Resources Policy Institute, and BUILDE (BU Institute for Leading in a Dynamic Economy)
- New School-wide marketing initiatives aimed at accelerating the School’s climb in rankings
