Global Days of Service
Every year in April, Boston University hosts Global Days of Service—a month of community service that brings alumni, students, faculty, and the BU community together. Whether you’re distributing food and toiletries to Syrian refugees or helping clean up the Charles River, you can participate in the yearly tradition of giving back.

About Global Days of Service
Boston University’s commitment to service dates back to its founding fathers in 1839. They spoke of a University engaged in service to and in collaboration with the city of Boston. After 140 years of fulfilling the mission of service locally, the University is heightening pursuit of its mission globally. With more than 300,000 alumni residing in all 50 states and more than 100 different countries, the potential to affect communities worldwide, in a positive and meaningful way, is enormous.
