BU Backyard Newsletter

Thank you for submitting your event to the BU Backyard. The BU Backyard is the primary method that alumni in the local area use to learn about events. Please review the criteria for submission and the production timeline below.

Submission Criteria

In order for your event to qualify for inclusion in the BU Backyard, please ensure that the following criteria are met:

Each event must offer a discount or other benefit that recognizes their status as alumni.
Each event registration must offer a selection for alumni to identify their affiliation as alumni.
At the event, your event manager must be prepared to greet alumni with a recognition that they are alumni.
Within ten days after the event, the event manager must send a list of alumni registrants and attendees to alumni@bu.edu

Production Timeline: The BU Backyard Newsletter is mailed on the last Tuesday of every month. Events must be submitted by the end of the business day on the Thursday prior to that Tuesday.
