COM Announces New Dean
Former Miami Herald Executive Editor Tom Fiedler, who recently chaired an external review committee that conducted an overall analysis of the College of Communication, will now lead the school, announced BU Provost David K. Campbell. Fiedler, who earned a master’s degree in Journalism from COM in 1971, becomes dean effective June 1. Read more...

Harold Burson, Carol Cone and a number of other distinguished practitioners and academics helped Boston University celebrate the 60th Anniversary its Master of Science Degree in Public Relations, Wednesday, April 23, 2008, on BU’s Charles River Campus. The world’s oldest public relations degree was first offered during the 1947-48 academic year at BU. Read more...
