January and February Internships (Application Deadline, November 1st)
AGNI offers one unpaid internship each year for a student whose college requires field work off campus in January and February.

Spring and Fall Internships
With very few exceptions, our spring and fall internships are limited to Boston University undergraduates and creative writing graduate students.

Summer Internships (Application Deadline, March 1st)
AGNI offers a limited number of unpaid internships each summer. Priority goes to undergraduates entering their junior or senior year.

We rely on these editorial assistants for proofreading, subscription fulfillment, database management, web posting, and many other tasks central to the magazine’s operation.

Interns gain:

Copyediting experience
Print and web publishing experience
Experience with Dreamweaver, FileMaker, and other software
A renewed sense of the relevance and wonder of literature

We require only a love of reading, and an eye (and ear) for detail.
