William Logan
William Logan (author page at Amazon) is the author of three volumes of
poetry: Sad-faced Men (1982), Difficulty (1985),
and Sullen Weedy Lakes (1988). This year, David R. Godine,
Pubisher, will publish a new volume of poetry, Vain Empires,
and a collection of essays and review, Reputations of the Tongue.
Mr. Logan has received the Peter I.B. Lavan Younger Poets Award
from the Academy of American Poets and the Citation for Excellence
in Reviewing from the National Book Critics Circle. (1994)
