) is the author of The Terror of Living, a novel forthcoming from Little, Brown and Company in 2011. His fiction has appeared in Gulf Coast, Meridian, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Colorado Review, The Southern Review, and elsewhere, and is forthcoming in One Story. A graduate of the Emerson College MFA program, he has received fellowships and grants from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Saint Botolph Club Foundation, and Vermont Studio Center.
