Tomas Tranströmer
Tomas Tranströmer (author page at Amazon),
born in Stockholm in 1931, won the 2011 Nobel Prize in Literature. A translator, psychologist, entomologist,
and classical pianist, he has become the most influential and revered Swedish poet of his generation. Tranströmer’s many poetry collections have appeared in hundreds of
editions in over sixty languages. He lives with his wife Monica in Stockholm. (10/2011)
