Sydney Lea

Sydney Lea (author page at Amazon) is poet laureate of Vermont. His eleventh collection, I Was Thinking of Beauty, will appear in 2013. A critical volume, A Hundred Himalayas, is just out, and will be followed by his third book of naturalist essays, A North Country Life. He is the founder and for thirteen years editor of New England Review. His earlier collection of poems, Pursuit of a Wound, was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2001. He teaches at Dartmouth College.
