Stephen Dixon

Stephen Dixon has published seventeen novels and sixteen story collections since 1976. His most recent novels are Letters to Kevin (Fantagraphics Books, 2016), Beatrice (Publishing Genius Books, 2016), and His Wife Leaves Him (Fantagraphics, 2013), and his most recent collections are a three-volume work called What is All This? (Fantagraphics, 2011) and the interlinked story collection Late Stories (Trnsfr Books, 2016). Two new collections, Dear Abigail and Other Stories (Trnsfr/Curbside) and Simple Stories (Fantagraphics Books), will be published this June. He lives in Ruxton, Maryland, and is retired from teaching in the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University. He has published fiction in Harper’s, The Atlantic , AGNI, Seneca Review, The Antioch Review, and elsewhere. (updated 4/2018)
